The color of frozen dew on grass in late fall is something I look forward to every year. No matter how hard I tried, I could not capture the essence of the color. The painting sat for 10 months before I opted to cover with a blue I was particularly fond of on that day. The blue changed my vision when it reminded me of Monet’s colors and I found peace. And when in brighter lights, it takes on light warm purple hues. The ability to create something that surpasses a vision is truly an amazing feeling.
