There’s something about the way light moves across this painting. It catches the textured paint, casts tiny shadows, and subtly changes the colors throughout the day. Like many of my heavily textured pieces, it never looks exactly the same twice.
When I unpacked these marbles, I immediately began imagining the palette I wanted to explore. The blue edge wasn’t part of the original plan, but the unexpected contrast brought the painting to life. Sometimes the smallest surprises become my favorite discoveries.
