I was trying to create a “self portrait” as shown in an older photo and I was not happy with it. I added the silver edging to make a frame but it still didn’t work. The warmth of the pinks and oranges reminds me of a cousin’s sweater. The paint texture is very dull and almost chalky in appearance in contrast to the shiny silver. The base was left around the edges to remind me that we can always change.
