Began applying soft acrylics with my hand, enjoying the movement and blending of purple, pink and watered down white latex paint that was leftover from another creation. I enjoyed how it looked but it wasn’t visceral enough. The following day I tried to recreate the same color palette and could not. The paint had become too thick so I brushed it out with a silicone baster but it wasn’t right. Finally shaved stripes of wet paint off, uncovering dried paint from previous day. Although the lines are crooked, I found amusement in it. It reminded me of bent prison bars that someone might tried to squeezed out of in much older movies.
