Spring on My Wall was created specifically for my own home. I sometimes make paintings for my walls simply because I want a particular color or feeling around me, and this one was about bringing the colors of spring inside.
I worked primarily in layers of green, adding touches of pink, blue, yellow and darker tones. Using a sponge, I moved and layered the paint across the canvas, building the soft, vertical movement throughout the surface.
It became a little bit of spring for my wall.
