Old paint and old scraps of paint from a 5-gallon drum inspired this piece. I added other scraps for colors as the piece speaks of how we can still find beauty in things that no longer seem relevant or current. And even if it has aspects of ugliness, we can find the beauty, complexity and awe of what remains. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
